I'll look for you if I’m ever back this way — Judy Collins N. one was left out of the excite- ment during Spirit Week. Even those who chose not to participate had lots of laughs. Joe “ ” Day opened many closets and subjected WHS to somewhat bizarre ideas. Among them were Joe ‘‘Slob,”’ Joe “Cool,” Joe ‘“‘Priest,’’ and Joe ‘Punk Rocker.”’ Other spirit days were P.J. Day and Hat, Tie and Sunglasses Day. ““Rowdy”’ was the word for Fri- day when spirit reached its peak during Brown and White Day. The Pep Rally had everyone’s con- fidence and morale soaring. Thanks to Sue Martin and mom the Wildcat made its debut in the pep rally with Robyn Berube as its soul. Our new found mascot came along to all the boy’s basketball games to provide moral support, help relieve some of the pressure, and psyche up the fans. Most of all we'd like to thank Brad Alves and Cindy Carreiro for devoting their time and effort into being the “Wildcat.” OOga-bOOga!! dr. year spirit Cindi A. Flowers and tuxes were picked by the guys while the ladies were frantic using rollers and curling irons. The confusion and rush of the afternoon mellowed out around 7:00 as couples began arriving at the Coachman in anything from mom and dad’s car to a chauffered limousine. Most girls preferred the Southern belle look complete with crinolines and gloves, while most guys wore tuxedoes with tails. Everyone looked really nice and had a terrific time.
