advice to juniors As you approach Senior year, you will enter one of the most crucial phases of your high school career. The coming year will probably remain more vivid in your mind than any other. To achieve any degree of success, I feel that you must devote special attention to the following: school involvement, class unity, and individual achievement. Involvement in extra-curricular activities is the key which will open the door to personally rewarding experiences. The right kind of involvement should also promote concrete improvements in your school and community. Active involvement, rather than endless verbal dissension resulting from personality clashes, will be the most important factor in the achievement of any goal you set your sights on. The success of your class will greatly depend upon the degree of unity and co-operation it will be able to attain. Even the most capable and efficient leader will be unable to achieve the goals of your class if he does not have the full support of a unified and effective body behind him. Your individual achievements and future successes, too, will depend largely upon how well you seize educational opportunities which your school makes available to you. Use all of these ways to develop your abili- ties to the fullest extent and to round out your personality. Be an individual in every sense of the word. Do not hesitate to question honestly, take the initiative, and move positively in the direction which you choose. We, the class of 1969, wish you much happiness and success in the future. Class President
