MR. HAROLD S. WOOD Jn Honor We wish to publicly express our appreciation for our Principal, Mr. Harold S. Wood, for the kindness and patience he has shown us, both as individuals and as a class. This yearbook would not have been possible without his sympathetic coopera- tion.

CLASS FLOWER Red Rose CLASS POEM “To Our Beloved Westport”’ Now we must leave your gates, Now tread our singular fates. Yet with a sigh we turn, Yet we have much to learn. Who now will be our guide, Who soothe our stubborn pride? We are but babes in arms, We know not life’s alarms. Yes, learn them all we shall, Yes, you have taught us well. So into life we'll stalk, So straight and tall we'll walk! Long may your colors light, Long furl your brown and white! Shine o’er the ocean wave, Shine o’er the free and brave. And Oh be true forever more, To Ours, the class of 64. RUTH COUTO CLASS MOTTO CLASS COLORS Red and White CLASS SONG (To “May You Always’’) Fare thee well dear Alma Mater; Time has come when we must part. Mem-ries shall forever linger; You ve a place in each one’s heart. Fare thee well to friends and teachers There will always be the memory Of your warm and kindly ways. Four short years have quickly passed; Our futures lie ahead. Though this should be a happy-time, It’s tears of sadness that we shed. And in the years that are to follow We shall be forever true To our school, our Alma Mater. Westport High—Adieu DIANE PETTEY
