WESTPORT ELECTS MAYOR WESTPORT, MASS., March 380, 1953 —At the March Town Meeting held in the Town Hall, Robert Couture was elected Mayor of Westport, with a mar- vin of 900 votes. Immediately after his victory Mayor Couture gave a speech on ““‘Why Westport Needs a New High School!’ ALICE’ TEA ROOM Specializing in the ‘best seafood in New England,’ Miss Alice Cabral has a promising catering business. All food served in the dining room is taken from trozen lockers and is said to be of the finest quality. Muriel—I’m glad to hear that Westport has a worthy mayor.
