DISTINGUISHED SENIORS OF ’88 1 2 3 4 5 1 — The past three years have gone by very quickly. Now. we've finally reached the highlight of our high school years. Graduation! This is a tremendous accomplishment and honor for us. Not only have we conquered the tedious task of schoolwork. but we've also matured in the way we relate with our peers. As we leave high school to pursue different interests we realize what advantages we have gained from this experience. Surely, the knowledge we've gamed here will help us achieve all our endeavors! Best Wishes to the Class of 88 . Traci Drake 2 — The three years I have spent at Westover have given me the ability to grow both academically and spiritually. I want to thank my closest friends for all the friendship, love, and support they have given me. and I especially thank Joey for giving me the strength never to give up. no matter how high the obstacles, and for making me realize that nothing in this world will happen unless we make it happen. Good luck mates! All my love — Betz Rowlee 3 — I would like to say congratulations and I hope you make it in the real world. I know that in the next couple of months and years we are to be getting a lot of advice from friends and people who have already experienced what we are going to go through and I hope it will help us in making the right decisions. My senior year has had its ups and downs, but it really has been fun. My advice for the future is to strive for the best and don't give up on anybody or anything. Darrell Hayden 4 — These past three years at WSH will always be special to me. I believe in making the most out of one's high school years, because once they're gone, they're gone forever. This is a time to grow, to mature, and to shape the future. Don't be afraid to take risks and most of all. don't be afraid of failure. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Phil. 4:13). Christ is the Lord of my life and without him I could not have achieved all the honors, awards, and special recognitions I have earned. With God on your side, all things are possible. So strive for success, set reasonable goals, and work to attain them by trusting in God and believing in yourself. May God Bless you All. DISTINGUISHED SENIORS OF ’88 1 — Westover is proof that first impressions are often misleading despite sharing a scary exterior resemblance to San Quentin, it has turned out to be a most enjoyable experience for the six months or so that I have been here. I came here expecting to be alone and unknown until I made parole (I mean graduated, of course) but the people turned out to be far friendlier to new students than I ever expected. Even though I will probably end up becoming a professional student the rest of my life. I want to give something back to this insane world that’s been so nice to me ... Anyway. I want to say. thanks to everyone here who helped me feel a little more welcome and. good luck to the class of '89. Rodney Marable 2 — As our senior year slowly fades away, we look back on the many memories that made this year special. Cherish the memories of the past for they help you build for the future and live each day so that you will neither be afraid of tomorrow nor ashamed of yesterday. Katherine Renee Addison 3 — I would like to thank all of these special people who helped me along the way. especially my mom. who I love and cherish dearly. Deana Hopkins 4 — Think about what remains to be learned. Skip Gill 5 — Take command of your life now. choose the path that will lead you to the greatest fulfillment of your expectations. Westover is the launching pad for your future attributes. I feel that nothing is unattainable if you want it badly enough.
