On January 28, sophomores finally had someone they could call underclassmen. They ranged in height from four feet to no taller than four feet six inches and they came in loads. They were the students from Morganton Road Elementary School. Because of heating problems at their school, they were hosted by Westover Sr. High from 11:00 until 2:20. Schedules were delayed and hysteria was created in the halls to accommodate the little bundles of joy. All of the kids eyes sparked interest and they made us remember when we were that age. We will always remember these two times. The students of Morganton Rd Elementary march- Faces were lit up as students prepared to eat lunch at the senior high, mg their way through Westover one by one. The elementary Kids get a taste of senior high life. 24 Student Life

The 1987 Talent Show highlighted a variety of talents. Winners included Casandra Rucker. Heavy D. and the Girls. Lost Cause and Ste-fanie Coburn. Overall winner of the Talent Show was Casandra Rucker who lip-sync “The Pleasure Principle by Janet Jackson. 26 Student Life
