In each phase of the competition, the young, debonair men added their own personality to enhance the show. The competition brought screams, cheers, and laughter as a new Mr. Westover, Greg Foster, was crowned. Other winners in the pageant included: first place. Pat Porter; second place. Edwin Brooks; and a tie for third place between Richard Hartline and Joey Cyr. Sophomore Patricia Pinckney said. “Over all, the 1987 Mr. Westover pageant was definitely a night all girls will remember.” The 1987 Mr. Westover Winners I. to r. — Joey Cyr. Richard Hartline. 1988. in its first month, gave the students of Westover the impression that this year would be a year to remember. The commotion started on January 7. The morning began as normal, but then at 6:30. to the praise of many students, snow came falling down. Students immediately turned on their TV’s and radios for any news of school cancellations. To the delight of many students, classes were cancelled for a total of eight school days because of the seven inches of snow. This vacation became a late Christmas present for many Wolverines.
