Beauty shone as bright as a twinkling star at the Miss Westover Pageant on November 3rd. All 73 contestants glimmered in their evening dresses as they promenaded across the stage demonstrating the pageants theme. “Belles of the South . All eyes in the gym were on the stage as the new Miss Westover. Michelle Malvesti. was announced. Other win- ners included: Leah Kinlaw. first runner-up; Cassie Mouw. second runner-up; Marti Maddox, third runner-up; Cassandra Rucker, fourth runner-up; and Miss Congeniality. Heidi Smith. Nadeen Ortiz said that the Miss Westover Pageant was an exciting night to experience. Elizabeth Turner hands over the crown to the new Miss Westover. Michelle Malvesti. In each phase of the competition, the young, debonair men added their own personality to enhance the show. The competition brought screams, cheers, and laughter as a new Mr. Westover, Greg Foster, was crowned. Other winners in the pageant included: first place. Pat Porter; second place. Edwin Brooks; and a tie for third place between Richard Hartline and Joey Cyr.
