CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS Rich throws in the ball. Wolverine Pride With only two seniors, both starters, goalie Eric Meyerson and fullback Mike Ingram, this year’s Wes-tover Soccer Team was one of the school's youngest, says Coach Rowlee. The two captains. Rocco Wicks and Frank Cassulo always seemed to keep up the team's morale. Eric, along with the assistance of the great defensive players, had nine shut outs this year. Kwasi Ankrah, the team’s all time leading scorer, showed exceptional ball control. The Sophomores who were getting use to the coach were extremely talented this year. Most of the Juniors who made the team last year showed much improvement with their ball control and passing. The soccer team had many new plays and changes on the field. Even though the team gave their all. they just couldn’t make it past the second round of the State Playoffs, but next year the Westover Soccer Team will be victorious. s V 1 V1 T S Coach Rowlee watches over his team.
