The Library Club, going into its fourth consecutive year, is one of the major active clubs of our school under the leadership of Miss Irene Bosman. At our first meeting held in September the following students were elected officers: Bob Merten, President: Sue Gehring, Vice-President: Bob Schroeder, Secretary: Arlene Schultz, Treasurer. The Library Club is constantly on the alert for opportunities to promote interest in reading. Through the money-raising projects of this organization the students and school personnel will enjoy the pleasant atmosphere ofabeautiful and comfortably furnished recreational reading room adjoining the reference library. STUDENT COUNCIL A student council is formed for the benefit of the student- to bring him to a closer under- standmg of the runrung of a school and to represent the student body for the purpose of voicing opmion and making decisions The first semester Student Council got off to a good start with the electron of officers at the first meeting. They were Roy Nelson Presldent Dennis Mick V1ce President Judie Pringle Secretary Vince Getka Treasurer and Betty Seno Reporter Mr Daily is the Advisor of Student Council. The C club sponsored the home coming dance after the Central versus Menomonee Falls game October 14.
