CLASS PRDPHECY REUNION of 1 959 The reumon commlttee of the 1954 graduatlng class has Just f1n1shed ma1l1ng out the 1nv1tat1ons Wow what a Job! I m glad that there were only forty two seniors way back then You wouldn t reallze that f1V8 years have gone by s1nce that nlght when the glrls suddenly got the smffles and the boys well smce that wonderful evenlng on June 4th 1954 whenwe all walked across that stage of the Central H1ghAud1tor1umtorece1ve our dlplomas They wondered then what each and everyone of us would do w1th out future Some of the g1rls joked about becom1ng secre taries others nurses and st1ll others housew1ves The boys were sure they knew then Curt1s Uebele was supposedly go1ng on to school preferably Carroll College Berme Hackbarth and Don He1nen were gomg to take advantage of those art lessons g1ven by Mr Valente Really they are now classed as movle screen pamters and they own beautiful Wlsconsin dalry farms But of course all of the farms are under the d1rect1on of thelr competent managers Joe Dooper and Ronn1eGem.mell Curtls d1d go on to school and he is now head chemlst w1th the F B I Joan Fox is really worklng hard at taking down hen scratchmg when Curtls d1ctates so fast Delores Seno 1S 1n Cal1.forn1a dr1v1ng some sort of car that needs a good examlnlng We really an t say anymore about It unt1l we see her Marty Carlborg Just happened to meet her and took a few m1nutes for a chit chat As you know Marty and Gladys Houtslnger were accepted as nurses and Marty has worked her way up 1nto the hospital smaster lnstructor whlle Gladys 1S head superlntendent of the wards When Bob LaMeer star pitcher for the Mllwaukee Braves flew to Flor1da for sprlng tra1n1ng he k1nd of thought he recog nlzed the stewardess and then it came to h1m that is was one of h1s high school classmates Jean W1nf1eld She sa1d she really enjoyed her work and that she had seen many of her former classmates whlle 1n fllght The day before Errol Schmellmg and Ed Becker had flown to Washington to settle a very important law case whlch was slated 1n the supreme court They were uncertam as to whether they could make 1t to the reunlon lt would depend upon the length of th1s case Sharon O Hare and Pat Greenwald dec1ded to move up North Now they have thelr own lodge and resort called Northern Yumber Yack Every once ln a wh11e they see Benny Ph1111pS at the Forest Ranger Statlon survey1ng h1s d1str1ct Also lt seems l1ke the mmk have moved malnly to the northern woods as Dave Walker and J1m McCormack seem to be domg mlghty good buslness w1th the1r trapp1ng 1nterests. . . . . . . . . . . . . , 0 1 .- . , . . . . . . . -- .... . .v 1 . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . .v .v 0 . . .
