BAD The concert band 15 made up of 39 members all of whlch are very proud of the1r newly acqu1red unlforms They made the1r appearance at the Chr1stmas Concert and smce then have played at Sharon Wrsconstn and at the Wheatland Grade School They have also been invlted to partxcxpate 1n the May Day parade at Burlmgton The band acung as a pep band took part m the pep sesslons and played at all the home football and basketball game. We also marched at the Homecommg game The band w11l take part ll'l the fesuval at M1lton on May 13 We w1ll play m the concert and marchmg 'contests The offtcers thls year were: Bob Schrmdt Presldent Delores Seno Secretary B111 Benson, A system of ments and demeuts was set up th1s year This system enables the members to earn awards from the mertts they have gamed but demer1ts w1ll penaltze them Demer1ts are handed out by the offlcers The band has made a splendld start for the two years 1ts members have been together and we would l1ke to thank Mr Rockwell the dlrector for h1s splend1d work in-, Treasurerg Nancy Runkel, Student Councilg and Joanne Morris, Librarian, J' 69 ai Y 9 X ' 1 L!
