Their first performance was at the WM fall concert and later they teamed up with the Jazz Ensemble to put on a perfor- mance which was followed by a dessert. The next big activity the choir was preparing for was the annual WM Christmas concert. The annual Tri-County choir festival was held in Condon. Our WM chorus attended this all day activity and enjoyed it very much. Another important performance was a contest held at BMCC. Ratings are on a scale of one to five, ones being the highest. The WM choir earned two -ones and a one. Again teaming up with the Jazz band, the chorus took half a day off from school to perform for the Helix schools and at the Athena-Weston Jr. High. A few weeks later the Spring concert was field in the WM gym. The choir also performed at the 1984 Baccalaureate while only Senior members of the chorus sang at their graduation.
