STUDENT GOVERNMENT MAKES STRIDES FORWARD Student government was very active this year. Their biggest project was to form a committee to draw up a new constitution for our school. The Constitutional Revision Committee was formed from all students interested in participating. Student Council observed Oregon Student Leadership day, by going to Pendleton to visit the courthouse. The experience was both educational and fun. ... 12 hours and still holding... Our fearless leader, John Patching. The typical heated discussion of a Student Council meeting.

This year our FHA Chapter was hon- ored to have Shelly Dabulskis elected as District President as well as State Edi- tor. W-M will be hosting the District Meeting next year. This year the FHA sold candles, had dinners and sold donuts to raise money. Their Friendship Meetings with the State Hospital were always lots of fun.
