SOCIAL SCIENCES This year the Social Sciences classes were taught by Mr. Gottfried, Mr. Kyles and Mr Nash. Mr Nash teaches Social and Political Citizenship and U. S. History Big “G teaches Social and Political Citizenship, Psychology and the Middle East. Mr. Kyles teaches Political Citizenship. Any Senior would tell you that was a hard class! They dis- cussed the Constitution, laws, mental diseases, Propaganda and the growth of our nation. Most of these classes are required for graduation. VOCATIONAL AG. AND SHOP Vo-Ag and Shop classes are taught by Mr. Shanks and Mr. Lange. Mr. Shanks works here at the high school. They learn such things as welding, glass cut- ting and soldering. Mr. Lange works at the Jr. high school. They learn wood skills there. FFA is a part of Vocational Agriculture. Students participate in differ- ent shows and the State Convention. PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND HEALTH Mr Mike Kyles is the P. E. and health teacher. His job consist of teaching the required classes to mostly Sophomores, but he does teach advanced P. E. to a few wandering strays. Mr Kyles also teaches one of the classes of Political Citizen- ship, and is a Junior advisor. Although you may think he only owns short pants, he does occasionally dress fully to teach the rest of his classes. Look ma, no hands.
