In these service clubs and assistant groups the boys and girls are given the opportunity to gain work experience and to help make the school run smoothly. The typists assist the teachers and the students in any work that must be typed. The art service club promotes school and town activities with attroctive posters and displays. The office assistants learn the functions of a school office, and run errands. The library assistants learn many details of library work. Their jobs range from repairing damaged books to arranging showcase displays of new books.
