F OREWGRD Weston is a unique suberb of Boston because ot the country-like atmosphere created by its stone walls, its expanses of woods and fields, and its small stores. In the picture of this typical New England town we must show one modern change-the change from the one room school house of 1855 to the modern school system of 1956. This change has largely been brought about as a result of the people's continued interest in education. Weston is an up-to-date town in its school buildings and func- tions, but it has preserved the physical uniqueness of the old town. We are proud to be part ot such respect for heritage and awareness of progress. The Weston Town House , s ,E 5. ,f 1. . 4 l i N , f -, .- Ya L .
