Coach James Anderson retired from coaching this year, after a career of 33 years. His coaching spanned from 1954 to 1964 and 1976-87. His coaching was interrupted by being Westmoreland's principal for twelve years. Coach Anderson states, I enjoyed the games, but coaching is a young man's game. A player from the past Billy Joe Perry says, He was an easy going coach: he wasn't a coach with a fiery temper. We congratulate Coach Ander- son on a job well done. Derrick Cannon, and Greg Law.
