: S N LOS AMIGOS ln a small school where scheduling is often a problem, students must sometimes work independently on subjects that they need or want. Offering these courses to students is left to the discretion of the teacher. I usually offer Spanish Ill this way. However, it takes a special kind of student to adequately complete independent work. When I consider offering these courses to students, l look for the following qualities: high interest level, ability and willingness to work with little supervision, and a positive attitude.
