SUPERVISING PRINCIPAL Donald H. Craine To the Class of '62: Congratulations on completing the first step in your pro- gram of education! It is not your last! Whether you plan to pursue further formal training or to enter directly into the world of work, the evidence is here now that the rapidly grow- ing mass of knowledge available to all will require you to think, to study, to evaluate, to learn, to educate and to retrain yourself almost daily if you are to meet your own needs and contribute to the needs of others of the world in which we live. You must keep your mind alert to the needs. It is my sincere hope that your studies and experiences here in school have helped to develop that quality of mind which will make it easier for you to do the evaluating, the training and retraining that you will need. I hope you will always be able to determine and discard from your accumulated knowledge that which is no longer true and useful and, at the same time, you will be able to determine and accept from the new that which is true and useful to the progress and preserva- tion of our civilization. Best wishes for a rewarding life, Peace lm, Caesar rpeakrf SECRETARY Jennie Mae Hensel SECRETARY Mrs. Helen Batson SECRETARY W'here true fortitude dwellff' Mrs. Mary DeLong PRINCIPAL William S. Fisher I will give you anf1z1diefzre.
