We also sold Christmas cards during November mak- ing a profit of S31 In addition to these candy and jello were sold 'Life Begins at Sixteen ',, three-act comedy, was presented on December 16 with a profit of S650 The first dance in the new gymnasium was held on October 16 As a gut to the new school the class pre sented a flag on February 94th to be used in the school auditorium Commencement week begun June 19 with :he senior ball The Baccalaureate address was given bv Rev George Upham at the Barlett Church on June 21st Blue caps and gowns were wori at the graduation exercises Mon day June 22nd l SJ'1 Z-rj'-:- . , . It takes part in the Spring Concert the Baccaulaureate and Graduation exercises. There are two special groups Within the choir: they are the Senior Trio composed of Virginia Moose Patricia Hessler and Emo- gene Moose' and the Junior Trio composed of Ruth Wilson Jeanine Hessler and Helen Fedor. Toward the last of July a fashion show was held at 4-H head- quarters in New Hartford. Six members modeled their clothes made during the year. These same members exhibited their clothes at Boonville Syracuse and Vernon Fairs. In September Mrs. Roger Reniff was admitted to the club as assistant leader. The club completed their cooking unit in January and are now working on sewing The officers are as follows: President-Carol Calkins Vice-president-Geraldine States Secretary-Mary Coyne Treasurer-Ann Evans Leader-Alma Cook The boys 4-H Club The Westmonlanders was very active at the fairs this last summer. Forrest Robson won third prize on calf' Andrew Smith won two first prizes on vegetables. All the boys are planning to make victory gardens and hope to win one of the several prives offered. The Council has adopted a constitution and has jurisdiction over all school alctivities. ATHLETIC COUNCIL At the first meeting of the Athletic Council the following osffi- cers were elected: president Karl Knudsen' vice-president Mary Coyne and secretary-treasurer Lefne, Lamonto.
