“SENIOR CLASS HISTORY During the first three years of high school, we members of the senior class had eagerly looked forward to our senior year. We held our first' senior class meeting on September 17th, and elected the following officers: President, Alice Davies: vice-president, Vincent Hunt: secretary, Arletta Scofield: treasurer, Barbara Marshg class advisor, Mr. McFarland. During the year we have earned money by selling magazines, jello and Christmas cards. At the school fair, the Senior girls sold ice cream, candy, and soft-drinks. We held several bake sales, and we have also sold refreshments at basketball games. In Oc- tober, we had a card party. Jean Bazan and Ann Woods joined our class in October and January respectively. Alma Cook received the honor of being elected chairman of the assembly board. In March, Alma was chosen to represent Oneida County 4-H girls at a State Convention in Albany. Our senior rings arrived in December. The class, agreeable as always, decided to get similar rings. On December 18th, we presented the play Lena Rivers at the Grange Hall. The play was a financial success. Mary June Barns, Ann Woods, Anthony Dzwonkas, Vincent Hunt, and Edward Schlist were the Seniors chosen to participate The Senior Ball was held on June 20th.
