Iilass Prophecy Who was it that said there were no signs of s uc c e s s in the hearts and minds of those 1955 Seniors of Good ole Westmoore High? Was it you? Oh, yes, no doubt--But do you know. . . Ten years have passed, and a vast change has come into our lives. Now let me see. . . Janice Ward, whose future was decided before graduatio n, is now keeping house for her husband and two children in their beautiful home in the suburbs of New York City. Charles Hus s ey is the man to call when you need to have the sink unstopped. Iunderstand he is a first-rate plumber. He should be--he out his teeth on a pair of his father's pliers. Doris Cagle is now running a nursing home. She is so kind to all of them...Who knows, maybe some millionaire will die and leave her afor- tune someday. And say, who is that nurse coming out of room 209 in Duke Hospital? Jean Hussey, of course. Who wouldn't get sick just to have her hold his hand ? Farrell McNeill is the new outfielder you have been reading about in the newspaper. He is playing with the Yankees and has just replaced Mickey Mantle in the center field position. Velna Cheek has just celebrated her 8th wedding anniversary. She has done p r etty well, don't you think?---Living with a MAN that long! Do you like beans? Ah, yes, most of us do. lf you want some of the best, step in at Luck's Bean Factory in Seagrove, N. C. Clinton Comer is now the manager there. Margie Lou Burgess is the mo st famous woman wrestler in the country. Cauliflower Lu has a hammer-lock that no one can unlock. Mr. Senator is the title thatJarnes Hussey is going by nowg in the election of 1960, he became a U. S. Senator at the age of TWENTY- THREE ? ? ? Bill Garner, who is now married, is one of the top singe r s on the Grand Old Opry. He has become famo us for his singing Courtin' in the Rain. Marjorie Hus s e y won the most blue ribbons at the fair this year. No wonder her husband is putting on weight, with her doing the cooking. Weldon Craven is now in the Navy. He really is a he ro , whe n it comes to girls! Another member of our class has answe red he r country's cally Mildred Teague is a lieutenant in the Waves. lf you should decide you want a new hair-do, just drop in at Norene's Beauty Salon located on Main Street in Seagrove. It is owned and opera- ted by Norene Sheffield. Betty Jean McNeill is the edito r of the best-selling newspaper in Moore County---The Robbins Tattler. Rachel Morgan, since finishing college, has been teaching the third grade at Westmoore, the noisiest class since the class of '55, Don't you believe that these things will come true in the next ten years ? Have a little faith! Worse things than these have happened!
