The gym was clev- erly decorated with a large replica of the yearbook placed in the center. Several amusing char- acters were sketched to represent the activities in which they had participated. Surrounding the book were several branches of gay autumn leaves in many bright colors. The showy decorations, the dreamy music, and the tasty refreshments provided an enjoyable student fund raising project for the class. The group pictures were taken early in October. The informal pictures, school activities, class rooms, and sports were taken throughout the year by members of the photo staff and vari- ous other individuals. The art staff for this year, headed by Iune Burgess, deserves multiple praise for the excellent piece of Work in taking care of this. The Phoenician workers of 1954 wish to extend an appreciative thank you to Mrs. Mar- jorie Raab, Mrs. Ruth Wineman, and all of the other members of the faculty who gave so gen- erously of their time and efforts in helping to make this year's book an outstanding achievement.
