JUN The junior class, with a keen eye on the future, elected at the earliest possible date, Dave McCormick, presi- dent, Fred Suppes, vice president, Sim- eon Moan Margolis, treasurer, and Ianet Kels, secretary. Using the same careful judgment they had used before. they elected Marvin Savering from 209. Ioe Cann from 308, and Kenneth Heff- ley from 309, as their home room repre- sentatives to student council meetings. Vice President: Delores Fox. Treasurer: Fred Suppes, prominent in many of the school clubs. The following were elected into the Hi-Y: Willy Hlivko, Harvey Rabinowitz, Charles Zimmerman, Ed Menser, and Dave McCormick. Dave was elected vice president. Only two juniors made an entrance into the photography club this year, they are Val Picking and Dave McCormick. Stu Kline was elected as vice president of the Club. The new Key Club, Composed of the brain children of the school, has some promising juniors. They are Kenneth Heffley, Willy Hlivko, Eugene Hubbard, Spurgeon Iohns, Macy Kaminsky, Marvin Savering, Re- nato Rodriquez, and last but not least, Simeon Margolis, who was elected vice president. In the Girls' Gym Club the juniors have Val Picking and Betty Kaufman as the two co-chairmen. The Y-Teens were active this year and most of the junior girls were taken into the organization. In the field of sports the juniors continued their outstanding record by contributing Goett- licker, Drew, Gipe, Kline, McCormick, Menser, Zimmerman, Rodriquez, and Slagle to the football squadg and in basketball.
