llllf lttttllltqrl'I.I1l1X'l'lHN The members comprising the joint board of education for the Westmont-Upper Yoder district deserve a vote of thanks for the many tasks accomplished by them each year. This year seemed to be a year of even greater achievement. Much was done to improve the athletic field this year. A very purposeful fence was built around it, and the spectators of our gridiron sport were indeed very happy to find that the board had purchased new bleachers for the other side of the field. Finally, the football games were made even more colorful by the new band uniforms and banners for which the school board was also responsible. Many school projects such as The Phoenician, The Yodler and the purchase of athletic equip- ment, are subsidized by the board also. These twelve men also take care of the important routine business which it takes to run a school correctly.
