DIRECTOR Mr Wlllard E Ackley performs his 1ob as superv1s1ng principal with dignity cmd enthusl asm Many of the educat1onal improvements Within our school are due to his tireless efforts He IS always ready to g1V9 assrstance to any student who is Willing to cooperate To the seniors trying to obtain scholarships or wishing to go to college his encouragement and advice are invaluable Aside from his admrnistratlve dutles he partrcrpates 1n many of the schools activities A Well known musician of the com munity he ably directs and arranges the music for both the mixed and girls choruses Being an ardent sports tan he attends all of the schools athletic functrons and cheers lustily for the home team Mr Ackley advocates fair play and hard work ID both sports and educa tion He takes an active part in community affa1rs and organizations Mr Ackley is a graduate of Bucknell University Miss Anna Mary Raab IS one of our very capable secretaries She gives willing help to all of us from the most frightened freshman to the most work weary senior With her help many of the students make out and adyust thelr schedules She ma1nta1ns her calmness and quiet efficiency even at her busiest moments Through her grac1ousness and w1ll1ngness to help she has won the friendship and admira tion of both faculty and students The partner in our pair of secretaries 1S Miss Betty Lee Wolf The slim and vivacious Miss Wolf spends most of her time domg 1nnumer able favors both small and large for the students It IS she Who QIVGS out admittance slips to those who are absent or tardy and supervises detention at noon hour The teach ers also receive much help from her The choruses are benefited because she lends her that she was away from school While she was ill we realized what an asset she is to the school ' I .
