R v BOB BARR A NORMAI Nt- d r HFRBFRT XXI ss bonds and stamps and attended the flrst a1d courses The grrls who were mem bers of the Glrl Reserves d1d Red Cross work Naturally the students were not serr ous all of the trme for they spon ored many soc1al GCl1V1ll9S The class party was enjoyed by every sophomore A large crowd atended the Drag Dance whrch was held after the Wrndber bas ketball game However the biggest suc cess ot all was the Valent1ne dance I order to select a patrlotrc theme the class chose the approprrate t1t1e Star Spangled Hop Duke Andrews orches tra prov1ded the mu 1cal entertamment The Junrors of next year lace a world of confuslon and turmorl Don Merrrtts who was formerly a member ot the class enhsted rn the Navy rn December As future leaders of the school they assumed new and challengmg respons1b1l1t1es Reahzrng thrs they strove to garn from school now the trarnmg that would en able them to lrnprove the World of to morrow I - . .
