Westmont is an Idea. -This Idea is very simply that Jesus Christ is the center and purpose in learning , in human experience in all of life. As scenes of a beautiful campus snapshots of dorm life jesting remarks about classes and professors basketball games and retreats scrapbooks and momentos all remind us of Westmont . . . So, in turn Westmont itself is a symbol of the Idea which the Apostle Paul has expressed. That in all things I-Ie might have the pre- eminence. This Idea, which is the very reason for our existence as a school, is being sought out spiritually, academically, socially, by men and women within this place and this Idea We call Westmont.
