Latin Club Boasts New Membershzlly Aczfz'vz'Q2 -- -na-ls: The purpose of the Westminster Latin Club is to broaden individual's knowledge of Roman culture and cus- toms. From their study they learn what relationship exists in our every- day life. The club's project for the year included atten ding Roman theme movies and selling school jewelry. They have the opportunity to put to use the practical ap- plication of the German lan- guage in a friendly atmos- phere. To stimulate interest, travel films on Germany and Austria are shown. Newly formed this year, the club tries to promote an interest in folk music and also to create a feeling of casual- ness and friendliness among its members. Meetings are held weekly at various memberls homes beginning with a meeting and ending with a hootenanny in which everyone joins in with voices and guitars.
