nterest in Medz'cz'ne KW 150 F .R F, M, P, was created to band together all students interested in medicine as a career or as a hobby. The purpose of this 'club is to train the students for the various aspects of medicine. It gives him an opportunity to work in the medical field while donating his time to a hospital. As well as gaining valuable experience the members are given a basis for their future plans. Among various other activities, F.M,P. worked on a float for Homecoming which was awarded first prize in club float competition. Members attend elementary classes and actually observe teachers. They then put this experience into practice by student teaching. To promote school spirit, F.T.A. slaved long and hard to make an outstanding float for Homecoming. In addition they sell the familiar blue and white suckers on days of big games. During the year F,T.A. attends one state convention and also the CEA convention.

Student library assistants are indispensable to the smooth operation of the high school li- brary. These students perform many duties including those of checking books, return books to shelves, and assisting the stu- dents in finding information. The quality of the student library assistant this year is especially highg they are all courteous, hard-working, responsible individuals, One of the assist- ants, Allen Tolliver, has been donating all his free time to the library for the past two years.
