JOHN fJohnnieJ BROTHERS-Johnnie is the pos- sessor of a peculiar personality, which has won for him thc- admiratic-n of many friends includ- ing those among the fair sex. His militaristic carriage was a valuable asset to him as guard in The Empero1 s Clothes . MARIETTA BROTHERS-A kind and lovable girl with a shy, yet pleasing personality, who calls Mechanicsville her home. W. H. S. commercials are thankful that she studies here since many of them profit by her efforts. Her motto, is Help others who won't help themselves. MADGE BROWN-A human and lovable compan- ion. Maldge possesses a musical ability which has placed her in the Girls' Chorus and won her the role of Flou1Flc-u in the operetta. We've beein hea,ring that Madge's favorite radio pro- gram is Fibber Magee and Mollie. ANNE CALHOUN-It seems impossible that such a lack of energy could be found in just one per- son. We feel sure that there must be some fam- ily connectozl between herself and a jumping jack . Her smile and her dimples brighten many a corner. , RUTH CALTRIDER--Addicted to piano playing. basketball managing, dating, and giggling. Ruth, studious in a limited way, always manages to hold her own on her report card. despite- the fact that her numerous dates make a beaten path to her door.
