At the same time the teacher comes to expect more from the student. Unable to hide behind an auditorium full of classmates, an unprepared student is quickly singled out. :dau ZZ A mind uncluttered by useful knowledge contentment and even happiness. .,, . is capable of A. The campus, with its surrounding countryside, seems almost detached from outside frustrations and problems. With its running rivers and plentiful treeland, nature adds another dimension to Westminster life. A river float trip or just the relaxation of the sun's rays is an appreciated luxury. And sometimes just the chance to be with oneself is all that is asked. RQ,-L,,2:-X51 ' 'lk 1. ' ,v -K 'Alia 7 'f'1f5i5? 't'7 fi 'X ' w,- E ' ? . Q. --ima-. i 5 . 2 . -an P' V-. ' .. r 4 7 flfiiifff Jsfgfxj'-y ll EE' 'I ff El f .Q-.1131 The interest of a student and how much he learns is often decided by the enthusiasm of the instructor. A friendly discussion with a faculty member at the College Inn becomes as much a part of one's education as his classroom time. The informal relationship between the learners andthe teachers is a major part of the Westminster environment. All-nighters and Cramming for finals become another part of the college environment, which affects almost every student before his time for graduation. That a balance between partying and studying must be achieved is a lesson that is difficult for some to learn.
