James Russell Miller Born at Harshaville, Pennsylvania, March 20, 1840. Graduate of Westminster College, 1862. (D. D. in 1880.) Married Louise E. King of Ar- gyle, New York, June 22, 1870. Pastor Presby- terian Churches: Bethany, Philadelphia, 1869- 78; Broadway, Rock Island, Illinois, 1878-80; Holland Memorial, Philadelphia, 1SS0-9S; St. Pauls, Philadelphia, 1900; since L880, Editorial Superintendent Presbyterian Board of Publica- tions and Sabbath School Work. Author of a large number of productions. Residence : 4224 Spruce St. Office: Witherspoon Building. Phila- delphia, Pennsylvania. Josiah Alexander Van Orsdel Born at New Bedford, Pennsylvania, November 17, 1860. Educated at public schools, Grove City- Normal, — now Grove City College — and West- minster College, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. Studied law with Dana and Long, New Castle. Pennsylvania. Married Kate Barnum July 28, 1891, at Blue Springs, Nebraska. Completed law course and removed to Blue Springs, Nebraska, where he became Manager of Black Bros. Flour- ing Mills. Located in practice of law at Che- yenne, Wyoming, 1891. Elected prosecuting attor- ney of Laramie Co., Wyoming, 1s i4. Appointed by government. Chairman of Commission to re- vise, compile and codify laws of Wyoming, 189S- 1905. Associate Justice General of Wyoming since April 15, 1905. Republican. Member Amer- ican Bar Association.
