It is seldom in a lifetime that one is fortunate enough to know someone with a wealth of tal¬ ents and resources, who gives of them constantly with untiring patience and understanding. In the presence of such a person, it is impossible not to grow both in intellect and spirit. We have been highly privileged to have such an influence in our lives. It is one which has been an inspiration to all of us, guiding us to greater understanding of the studies we pursue, the music we sing, and finally, of our place as individ¬ uals in a changing world.
