It is seldom in a lifetime that one is fortunate enough to know someone with a wealth of tal¬ ents and resources, who gives of them constantly with untiring patience and understanding. In the presence of such a person, it is impossible not to grow both in intellect and spirit. We have been highly privileged to have such an influence in our lives. It is one which has been an inspiration to all of us, guiding us to greater understanding of the studies we pursue, the music we sing, and finally, of our place as individ¬ uals in a changing world. It is with the deepest admiration and gratitude that we, the Class of 1967, dedicate this edition of the Quadrangle to DR. PRISCILLA SILZ 7

In our era, the road to holiness necessarily passes through the world of action.” In appreciation to Dr. George Lynn who came to the Choir College with us four years ago. He has given all of us through Symphonic and West¬ minster Choirs the ability to see into our corpo¬ rate selves, a knowledge of our personal integrity as leaders, and a sense of choral sound which is part of us. His consideration and help have been available to us as individuals at all times. In appreciation for helping us to know that During a working day, which is real only in God, the only poetry which can be real to you is the kind which makes you become real under God; only then is the poetry real for YOU, the art true. You no longer have time for — pas¬ times.” We have known him as a man who came to Westminster sharing the dream of an¬ other great man, and doing his utmost to fulfill that dream. The Class of 1967 6 from Hammarskjold’s Markings”.

FouWe is JoJuv PUuEey WittiCUft iSOii Rh Ct; B. WitliCttoi OH; Unselfish sharing and- serving must have al¬ ways been a part of the lives of John Finley and Rhea B. Williamson. They shared with others their ideal of excellence in church musicianship and served as dedicated leaders in this field. Their contagious efforts to promote this ideal have been enlarged to an international scope. We are indeed grateful to these persons whose visions have enriched our lives. 8
