Communications ls The Key 5 z., Many students distinguished themselves by becoming involved in community communications services. Susan Meigs led the deaf on Sunday mornings at Coral Ridge Church. Ronnie Brown and Brian VanderKodde gave the younger generation an exciting new opportunity to listen to Christian rock every Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00. The Nlain Element presented Christ wif 'mms through music that kids can relate to. Following this came Rick Beiber and Kevin Kalbach with Jazz for You. They organized and ran this program for those in the community who enjoy jazz. Another new community organization was WAFG's sports broadcasting. The team was made up of lVlr. Watson, Coach Key, Tracy Barnett and Rick Beiber. They went to We many ofthe Broward County schools games and broadcast the action live! Because of these people many in the community learned more about Westminster and the people here. 5. Susan signs the sermon. 6 and 7. Kevin and Rick broadcast Jazz for You. 8. Tracy And that was number. . .uh. . Mr. Watson 44. 9. Why don't you guys just play another song?

Grading papers, leading a class review, running errands, all these things and more are routine for teachers aides. Each week the student must fill out a report for that week's work. Every other week the teacher makes out another one. These slips evaluate the student's work and are used in grading the aide. 1. Let's see now, you've got 2 'A's, a 'BH . 2. Close To Perfection ME-MAY-MA-MO-MOO, And so forth. A typical day in Sr. High Chorus began with a warm-up exercise and then they went through their music. Mrs. Vanderslice made sure they worked hard to achieve a close to perfection sound. The chorus planned to go to Atlanta for a week and to sing at several churches. The Sr. High held several bake sales and other fund raising projects. This year the Sr. High chorus added a nonuette to their special groups. Along with the ensemble they sang at several places during the year. , W, 7 ' '55 TI -Q . Ye.
