At the end of their unit the children could all answer the question Who is the Lord? To supplement their animal unit, the boys and girls made paper mache animals. These animals, plus the real ones the children brought in for Zoo Day, made the animal unit an exciting time. The field trip to Lion Country Safari gave each child a first-hand look at the wonders of God's creation. This year was a terrific year! Miss TroxeIl's second grade had a fun and exciting year. They enjoyed learning about animals. The highlight of their animal study was having Class Zoo Day. They brought their pets to school and shared them with their classmates. Their favorite field trip was the day spent at Lion Country Safari. First Grade Mrs. Edwards' first grade was filled with the fun of learning to read, write and use a number line. They popped corn, baked cookies and made their own play dough.
