The God who gives names to the stars in the universe is also infinitely aware of us. He gives us different talents, abilities, and interests. Some of us played football this year, some were on the Fall and Winter Homecoming Court, some went on a choir tour, and some helped a small child learn to read. A star shines and gives light. God has called many of us to Himself that we might shine for Him. We are to let this light given to us by God shine before men that they might see Christ in us. Some stars, because of the way they relate together are given special names: The Big Dipper, The Bear, and Orion's Belt. There are those of us who have been drawn together. We have come together and have learned what it means to understand and feel for a friend. The group was special because we shared in each other's life.
