As l-lalftime draws nearer the suspense of the crowd mounts. The announcer will soon name one class to receive the megaphone and one girl to wear the crown. As the floats rolled on the field, faces beamed with pride as class members cheered for their entry. The crowd hushed and the announcement was made. . . Miss Gaye Smith is crowned 1977 Homecoming Queen and the Class of '79 claims possession of the megaphone for the second year in a row. It was along, hard week. People were really tired, but Homecoming '77 will long be remembered with many fond memories by all those who participated. 9.
