Mrs. Wfarren is in charge of the bookstore and book rentals, While Mrs. Riley and Mrs. Clark keep records, answer the phone, and give information to students and their parents. Mrs. Mooneyhan makes sure that Westlaners are physically fit by giving hearing and sight tests and keeping records on all students. These women play a vital part in the organization of our school. Mr. Bert Swin head custodian, Mrs. Lucille Caldwell, cafeteria manager, and Mrs. Harriet Williams, matron, . . . h ga strive to give Westlane an appealing atmosphere. All three are to be applauded for the efficiency Wlt which they carry out their jobs.

Besides talking to every seventh grade student and answering their many questions, they have been working on the orientation program for next yearis seventh graders. An annual parents' night for parents of future seventh graders was also a part of their schedule. oanselors fre Familiar Faces to All Mrs. Wfalker and Mr. I.aFollette began their school year two weeks earlier than the students as they worked on the orientation for the new students. The testing program was next on their schedule. Wfith the results of the Iowa tests, they were ready to help the eighth graders and ninth graders in their educational planning. A visit to all health classes, a parents' night and the students' conferences kept the counselors busy. Formulating classes for next year completed their year.
