Westlaneys Sound of Music HORUS S The Boys' Chorus, under the direction of Mrs. Kern, has provided us with several enjoyable programs. The Christmas convocation gave the appropriate atmosphere for displaying not only their voices, but also their colorful vests. Westlane may now boast of its fine Barbershop Quartet. This newly formed ensemble, sponsored by Mrs. Kern, has proved to be a most welcome addition to our musical family. GIRLS' CHORUS. Firsf row: J. Sexon, F. Bailey, Samuelson, K. Elliott, P. Not to be outdone by the boys, the freshman girls, under the guidance of Mrs. Kern, have organized their own chorus. Concerts were an important part of their musical endeavors, while practicing for the Christmas convocation demanded a greater portion of their time. When not practicing or performing, the girls added to their musical knowledge by learning new songs and singing techniques. Mayfield, K. Krause, A. Faircloth, C. Kuhn, L. Shuey, K. Mommer, L.
