During the year the members have gained proficiency in reporting, writing copy, and proof reading, all in preparation for the publication of our school newspaper each six weeks. The club is divided into several sections, each headed by an editor who directs his section members in the writing of feature articles and reporting on all school events, such as dances and sports competi- tions. One of the main accomplishments of the year was the entering of the Scholastic Press Association contest. We are most happy to announce that XVestlane's Hi-Lights, sponsored by Mr. Gascho, placed second in the competition. As can easily be noted, our Hi-Lights is truly the town crierv of the student body. EDITORS. First row: L. Kiovsky, S. Leff, J. Marshallg Seconrl 'rowz Mr. Gascho, E. Storey, B. Cruikshank, C. Under the spon- sorship of Mrs. I-Iess, all school-wide collections of money during the year are handled by the members of this vital club. Two of the largest projects this year, in which outstanding work was done, have been the sales of the school newspaper and the yearbook. As can easily be noted, this club is the financial back- bone of the student body. LIBRARY STAFF. First row: R. Glasser, C. Martin, J. Griffin, R. Brock, P. Rich, Lancet, Miss Burrin, C. XVard, S.
