During the year the members have gained proficiency in reporting, writing copy, and proof reading, all in preparation for the publication of our school newspaper each six weeks. The club is divided into several sections, each headed by an editor who directs his section members in the writing of feature articles and reporting on all school events, such as dances and sports competi- tions. One of the main accomplishments of the year was the entering of the Scholastic Press Association contest. We are most happy to announce that XVestlane's Hi-Lights, sponsored by Mr. Gascho, placed second in the competition. As can easily be noted, our Hi-Lights is truly the town crierv of the student body. EDITORS. First row: L. Kiovsky, S. Leff, J. Marshallg Seconrl 'rowz Mr. Gascho, E. Storey, B. Cruikshank, C.
