REYNOLDS, HEADMASTER This the time of leave-taking, a time ofjoy and doubt, a time to look ahead, to speak of the future. Some of what you bring to that future is captured here in this book: sudace images that reflect the excitement, the happy frivolity of time spent trying to catch the wind. Here too are memories of those moments of exhilaration and joy, of despera- tion and sefrevelation--the substantial fabric of your school-girl days. I hope that from your teachers and your school you have gained a genuine faith in yourselves, an abiding respect for the workings of an ordered and contained mind, the will and courage to seek that quality of personal fuUillment which will bring you happiness and continued hope to the whole human enterprise.
