The boarders all agree that they could not ask for a more kind and understanding housemother. The sight of Mrs. Sterett sitting at the switchboard with her little parakeet perched on her shoulder will be among the many pleasant memories that we shall take with us when leaving Westlake. The friendly face seen in the telephone oflice each day is that of Miss Carlisle. We admire her extreme patience in the midst of our daily needs for money. stamps and telephone permits.
