Boy’s And Girl’s State I had a great time at Boy's State even though it was one of the most strenuous activities that I've ever participated in. I really had to put out a lot of effort, but it was worth it. When it was over, I felt a great sense of accomplishment and pride in myself. It was also a chance to make new friends and learn a lot about government. Eric Strahan Boy's State was a great experience. I learned about the different levels of government and how the government works at the different levels. I learned about the duties of the state and local officials. Chuck Cochran Eric Srrahan, Jenny Landry, and Chuck Cochran Girl’s State was a great educational experience. I learned a great deal about how the government works and also the jobs different local and state officials perform. Jenny Landry Girl's State was a great experience. I would recommend it to anybody who is interested in learning about government or in seeing how much sleep they can go without. I really enjoyed meeting girls from all over Louisiana and working with them in my city and parish. During the week of Girl's State, our motto was Go for it , and that's what we did.
