Pride And Dedication Are All A Part Of Our School Westlake High School has always been a spirited school at which students are proud to attend. The value and status of a school is determined by the students who attend and the following pages will show why our school is the greatest. Spirit is the life of a school. We have many activities which students can participate in such as basketball, football. Ra-mettes. Annual Staff, Band and other clubs. By taking part in these, the students show their pride, dedication, and spirit for their school. Preparing for the next year begins during the summer for many Westlake High students. Many students attended summer camps, summer practices, and workshops at McNeese. During the summer the students received their yearbooks. Looking at the pages brought many happy memories of the year before. Students at Westlake High are a sriident body that stands together and supports each and every group that goes out to represent our school. They can be proud no matter if they win or lose because they do so as an entire unit and not just individual groups. Westlake High, We’re Proud of You.” Westlake High students enjoy a pep rally. Principals Provide Leadership . . . The 1984 RAM-LER is a priceless item because it preserves the look and feel of a very special time in the lives of all our students. Thanks to your competent efforts, students of our school can renew and relive those memories again in the years to come. You are obviously a group with a strong sense of organization, and I am sure that each of you must have viewed the ideas of others with respect and a willingness to cooperate. I am particularly impressed that you were able to maintain such a highly respected position on campus while spending countless hours on the yearbook.
