Cinda White is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Ted Mayeaux. Cinda plans to go to college and maior in pharmacy. Her activities include band. FBLA. Student Government, varsity cheerleader, homecoming court, and Who's Who Among American High School Students. f The participants that attended Boy's and Girl’s State were Susan Watson, It was an exciting experience for me. At first you get scared because you don’t know anyone, but things start happening so that you make new friends. I had little sleep and missed home, but I enjoyed myself alot. Joanne Kile. Girl's State was anything but boring. Adjustment comes quickly though, you learn to eat quickly and live without any sleep. Jim Farley, Boy’s State was an enlightening experience, teaching patience, trust, and the ability to work with others. The entire week was filled with work, but this was enjoyable work. The dance with Girl s State was the most pleasurable memory of the week. Johnny Johnson, Boy’s State was one of the best experiences of my life. Besides learning how the government works, I learned to work with people.” New heights were reached at Boy's and Girl's State. Student Life 15

Christmas Dance 1984 The Christmas dance was held Saturday. December 3 in the school lobby and cafeteria. The theme this year was silver bells. There was a change in the dance this year from a formal affair to a semi-formal one. The music was provided by the group Night Flight. The Westlake Ramettes sponsor the Christmas dance each year. They are responsible for the planning of the dance and always enjoy the many hours of decorating which preceeds the evening. Jonan Robinson and Jim Farley. Connie Nope and Mark Borel.
