FO REWORD In order to preserve the memories of our pleasantdays at WestLake High School. We edit this Annual with the sincere hope that you enjoy recalling these thoughts. We wish to express our thanks to the faculty members and the student body for their assistance in this undertaking. The Annual Staff DEDICATION We the Annual Staff take great pride in dedicating this year book to Mrs. L. V. Manning who has so willingly helped us with this and many other activities in the past. Therefore we think it fitting to dedicate this years RAM—LER to her. A N N U A L s T A F F Editor Wayne Pettijohn Asst. Editor Jessie Howard Bus. Manager Delores Sutherland Asst. Bus. This year's Ram-ler will be treasured both for its worth and for the memorable school year that it shall commemorate. The splendid record of the football team, the newly awakened spirit of the community, the new school plant, our loyal Pep Squad, the thriving club program, the Honor Roll and Honor Society are all signs of a school that is alive and moving forward. The most striking change is in the attitude of the faculty and student body, which seems to say, I am proud to be a part of all this. Yes, we are all proud to be a part of Westlake High School. So as we look back over the 1947-4-8 school year; there is only one suitable expression. well done ..MINIMI 1' ' HIGH SCHOOL FACULTY PRINCIPAL J. M. Le Tard COMMERCE Christine Saloom HOME EC.
